Lost in Castle

A medieval-style retro platformer.  The goal of Lost in Castle is to get away from dark dungeons guarded by enemies of different kinds, traps and obstackles. To accomplish it, you have to upgrade your character, use mixtures and discover hidden parts of the castle. There are 5 castles in total, some of which are non-linear - you can choose multiple different ways to exit them.

GAME RULES:

→ The goal is to enter the door, usually located far away from your start position. By doing this, you enter the next room, which brings you closer to escaping from the castle.

→ You can move your character right, left and jump.

→ On your way there are enemies, which you can defeat by attacking them using C key. To achieve the best result, while attacking them you can keep pushing them by using arrows.

→ You can also jump over enemies to avoid fight and save more life points.

→ Besides enemies, also obstackles like spikes, dangling and falling swords and stones can hurt you, reducing your life points.

→ You have 4 characteristics: maximum life, damage, movement speed and jump force.

→ Each of those can be upgraded temporarily using mixtures or permamently using upgrades.

→ Mixtures are collected when you walk into them; then they are ready to use by pressing keys 1-4 on alpha keyboard. They upgrade one of the characteristics for 5 second period of time.

→ For each time you enter the door go to the next room, you receive 1 Upgrade, which allows you to permamently upgrade one of the characteristics you choose.

→You win the game when you enter the door in the last room in the castle.
